Four taken to hospital after south Dublin crash involving ambulance

Section of N11 was closed for a period early on Tuesday evening but has since reopened

Four people have been taken to hospital following a crash between a car and an ambulance in Dublin.

The incident occurred on the N11 at approximately 4.30pm on Tuesday.

Three men, two aged in their 60s and one in his 20s, and a woman in her 70s were taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Gardaí attended the scene and temporarily closed off a section of the road which has since reopened.
