Burning car on M50 causes long traffic delays

Dublin Fire Brigade units extinguish burning vehicle on southbound lane near Junction 14

Users of the M50 southbound near Junction 14 (Sandyford) are experiencing heavy traffic delays this afternoon after a car went on fire.

The fire was extinguished by two units of Dublin Fire Brigade from Dun Laoghaire .

However, although the burned remains of the car have been moved to the hard sholder, heavy traffic delays remain in the area, according to AA Roadwatch.
