Wear it out: Cian O’Brien, artistic director of Dublin’s Project Arts Centre

This week, we meet Cian O’Brien the artistic director of Project Arts Centre in Temple Bar in Dublin. We get an insight into his carefully selected and polished look and a top tip on an exciting project coming up this summer.

Tell us about your outfit?

The jacket is Levi’s and was €25 at the outlet in Kildare Village (spotted by a pal in a rack hidden at the back). I love it, especially with my treasured #wakingthefeminists badge.

I got my scarf from a great website called softlychosen.com. It was €35. Jeans, jumper and shirt all from my favourite Uniqlo (none of them cost more than €40). The shoes are Marni and were a gift from my very fashionable parents last Christmas. Glasses are from Specsavers and were €89.

How would you describe your personal style?

I think my style is quite preppy. I buy almost all of my clothes in Uniqlo – their jeans are just the best. I tend to spend most money on shoes.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?

I am looking forward to working with visionary choreographer Fearghus Ó Conchúir on The Casement Project – a major contemporary dance project inspired by the life of Roger Casement. Look out for the ultimate day on the beach at Banna Strand in Tralee on July 23rd. thecasementproject.ie
