The 18-bedroom hotel overlooking Caragh Lake has just reopened after a nine-month refurbishment and its 18 rooms are available from €85 per night B&B. The 1913 Arts and Crafts house – sister hotel to the Europe Hotel and Dunloe Castle – has been attracting American and English tourists who swoon over the lush lakeside gardens and the elegant interior furnished with antiques, hand-made rugs, and Edwardian-style bathrooms.
