Those of us sufficiently analogue to remember the Banana Splits from Saturday morning TV recognise the Max ATV as first cousins of their bouncy Banana Buggies . They have been around just as long, having six-wheeled on to the stage back in 1969. They may look vaguely toy-like, but they are seriously tough, all-terrain runabouts. Amphibious, with constant six-wheel drive, they can take you just about anywhere in any conditions. Comes in two- person, four-person and dump truck models, with a bumper toybox of accessories.

The 100-Day Shirt
Although the guys behind this new shirt had to issue all sorts of clarifications about it not self-cleaning and how you still "might" need to wear deodorant, they stepped up to the mark with the ultimate beta test and wore it themselves for 100 days – and apparently kept some friends.

The shirt itself isn't made from some new Nasa spin-off, rather it is back to basics, using a super- fine Merino wool, not cotton.
