Thanks to Steven Spielberg, you'd have to be hiding under a rock to avoid the intrepid reporter lately. As game tie-ins go, this is neither a Jonas Brothers abomination nor in the same league as the likes of Batman: Arkham City. It's a third-person platform action game with glimmers of charm but little to remember. You play the ginger teenager (and sometimes his dog Snowy) in a bid to find buried treasure and restore Captain Haddock's family name. The gameplay is reminiscent of the 2D Prince of Persiagames – simple problem solving, basic combat and lots of running and jumping. The characters look even more dead-eyed than they do in the film and gameplay is so easy it feels perfunctory. The multiplayer option is reasonably fun, but ultimately this is pretty bland stuff.
