Fly With Me **** 3 cert, EA, iPod Touch (also iPad, iPhone)

Not to be confused with a recent holiday photo app, Fly with Me is EA's latest foray into the ever-expanding casual mobile games market, featuring super-cute graphics and very simple gameplay. The distinctly not-angry birds soar from the left of the screen to the right. Tap the screen to make them flap, and ensure that they don't run out of steam (which causes them to fall from the sky) or crash into obstacles. Maintain flapping energy by gobbling bees along the way. Like many app games, levels can be replayed for more accuracy and points (symbolised by collectible gold stars). The folksy music is almost too catchy. Questionable zoological accuracy aside, this is an immensely playable, great- value app (at less than a quid). It's also very charming – I especially like the birds' triumphant flutter of wings and eyebrow-raising when levels are completed.
