Brendan Murphy, the former head of corporate PR at Financial Dynamics, has taken up a new role in Dublin with New York-based company Teneo. Teneo, recently co-founded by Irishman Declan Kelly, comprises a merchant bank, a private equity vehicle and a consulting business.

UPC Ireland has teed up the Mount Juliet golf resort in Co Kilkenny to take its broadband services as part of a three-year deal. Mount Juliet will offer complimentary Wi-Fi to guests.

Dublin will hosta European air accident investigation conference next month for about 100 delegates. It will provide, among other things, an update by French and Brazilian authorities on the investigation into the loss in 2009 of Air France 447 over the Atlantic.
